If you have shopped around for flooring at some of the larger home improvement centers, you will have found that most salespeople have very little to no installation experience with laminate flooring. They typically also have very little product knowledge in regards to any of their flooring materials, especially laminate flooring. Because we our business is family owned and we have specialized in laminate flooring, and are the oldest online flooring company, we really know our stuff. We have installers and professional contractors that work our phones and not a salesman, who are reading question/answer “cards”… that really don’t have any firsthand knowledge with laminate floors.
We do things a little differently. First we don’t rely upon what manufacturers have told us about their laminate flooring. We test all the flooring personally before we ever sell to our customers. We judge our laminate floors based on our own tried and proven testing methods. We not only physically look at the locking mechanism, surface texture, and overall quality of the product. We test the surfaces for denting, scratching, staining and waster resistance. We also have our laminate floors installed by our professional installers that can tell us how easy they are to install, and their opinions on quality.
